One-third of food is (still) wasted, of which 40% is fresh produce. This is a issue to the food industry, resulting in 10% of all CO2 emissions, and uses up 25% of all our fresh water. Used on food that is not consumed. OneThird has developed a method to predict shelf-life of fresh produce. We're using an AI-based infra-red scanner together with smart phone imaging and a smart data information platform.
