Corporate sustainability programme
A strong Twents business community is the engine of the regional economy. Businesses are the foundations of the region's current and future earning power and provide income and job security for residents. It is crucial that the business community in Twente continues to develop. Within the programme ‘making business locations more sustainable’, work is being done to make the energy supply at business locations more sustainable. This is necessary to tackle the increasing congestion on the electricity grid.

The Circular Value Chains project aims to change that. The message is simple: when (designing) housing (re)construction and road building, existing materials should be reused as much as possible.

Textile Identification
The project is working on a technological application, which will allow textile fibres to be identified quickly and accurately. This sorting aid should be able to identify and qualify different structures and textile layers.

Kennispark Twente is one of the four top work locations in Twente. Top work locations are business parks that stand out, for example, due to a special group of companies, a distinct profile or an attractive location.

The goal of the Digital Hub Twente is to support small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in their digitalisation efforts. The idea behind a digital workshop is that entrepreneurs receive assistance from a student or teacher to advance their digital transformation.
