EngD-programme

The world is rapidly changing due to the digital revolution, and Twente’s business sector must keep pace with this digital transformation. The EngD programme enables a two-year post-master’s track for technological designers, where the designer’s task is to create technical solutions for products, processes, and systems for the commissioning company.

'Post-Masters Drive Knowledge Development and Knowledge Transfer in the Region'

Saxion lecturer/researcher in Business Research and Financial Management, Evelyn Zuidema-Tempel, began the PDEng programme (Professional Doctorate in Engineering) at the University of Twente last year. Two days a week, she attends lectures at UT and works on her design assignment at Infotopics.

The company aligns perfectly with what Evelyn Zuidema-Tempel values. “Infotopics helps organisations, departments, and above all, individuals, to gain insights and answer questions based on data. Once I complete the programme, I will be able to apply the knowledge I’ve acquired at UT and Infotopics to the development of curricula and the Saxion research group I work for. In this way, we can, for example, help SMEs in Twente become more data-driven.”
