As the Young Twente Board, we work on issues that impact us as young people in Twente. We’re always critical and constructive, sometimes a touch disobedient. In this way, we keep Twente moving forward together. We’ve found our place alongside policymakers, and our peers know where to find us.

We keep a broad view of the world around us, but we’re also a close-knit team that holds each other accountable. Quality over quantity defines our approach to both our work and our relationships with stakeholders. With our goal of increasing Gross Twente Happiness, we work hard to occasionally be able to look around proudly at a Twente where the future is palpable.
Roles of the Young Twente Board
Young Twente Board focuses on issues that directly impact young people in Twente. We are critical and constructive, sometimes a bit rebellious, to keep Twente moving. Our close-knit group of young professionals aims to increase Gross Twente Happiness by actively contributing to the region’s socio-economic development.
- Monitoring: Staying informed about developments and opportunities that impact Twente’s youth.
- Driving Initiatives: Launching initiatives and projects that respond to young people's needs.
- Connecting: Fostering networks and collaborations between young professionals and established organisations.
- Challenging: Thinking critically and innovatively to find new solutions for existing issues.
- Facilitating: Supporting young people in realizing their ideas and projects.
- Evaluating: Measuring the impact of our projects and learning from our experiences.
