Do you live in Twente, are you between 21 and 35 years old, and want to make an impact in the region? Apply now for a position on the Young Twente Board!
We are the youth advisory board for the Twente Board, a collaboration between government, business, and educational institutions. Together, our goal is to strengthen Twente’s socio-economic foundation. Our role is to inspire and drive forward themes that we, as young people, believe need more attention and acceleration in our region. One example is the concept of "Gross Twente Happiness," a strategy that supports broad prosperity for the Twente region. This concept has been embraced by the Twente Board.

What Is Expected of You?
- Collaboration: You are a strong team player
- Commitment: This is a volunteer position but not without obligations (an average of one evening every two weeks, for a period of three years)
- Flexibility: You are flexible with your time (beneficial to discuss with your employer)
No specific education or experience is required.*

*Dutch is the working language within the Twente Board and the partners we collaborate with; therefore, understanding Dutch is desirable. However, we welcome internationals with a strong connection to Twente—so if you’re not yet fluent in Dutch, that’s not a problem.
