Twente Board is a unique collaboration between businesses, educational institutions and government bodies. Together, we share one common interest: strengthening Twente’s economy. We do this by contributing ideas and investing in promising and innovative projects. Our ultimate goal is to become a leading green region where people can enjoy a high quality of living, working and life. In other words, together we strive for Gross Twente Happiness.
Twente Board
Collaboration is part of Twente’s DNA. For many years, we have been joining forces in a wide range of cross-sector partnerships to move the region forward. To address Twente’s socio-economic challenges, government bodies, educational institutions and businesses work together in Twente Board.
Twente Board is the regional partnership in which the 14 municipalities of Twente, educational institutions and businesses jointly shape the development of Twente. They are united by one shared goal: a strong, future-proof region where people can enjoy living, working and life.

Young Twente Board
Young Twente Board is a sounding board of Twente Board and ensures that the perspective of young people in Twente has a clear place in regional decision-making. With a fresh and critical perspective, Young Twente Board raises themes relating to youth participation and the future of Twente.
In this way, Young Twente Board contributes to choices and initiatives that support a future-proof region and Gross Twente Happiness.
