Myrthe Oude Ophuis

My name is Myrthe Oude Ophuis (26), and I’ve been a member of the Young Twente Board with great enthusiasm since October 2024. In my day-to-day life, I work as a Junior HR Business Consultant at Robert Muntel Financial Consultancy BV. With my roots in Twente, I’d like to contribute to an attractive, vibrant, and future-proof Twente.

I was born and raised in Tubbergen, but I’ve consciously broadened my horizons through study and travel experiences outside of Twente, culminating in a backpacking trip through Southeast Asia. These experiences have broadened my perspective and, at the same time, shown me how wonderful it is to live and work in Twente.

On the Young Twente Board, I’m committed to addressing issues such as talent retention, being an attractive employer, the leisure economy, and the region’s vitality. What I find valuable about the Young Twente Board is that we all come from different backgrounds. It’s precisely this mix that sparks new ideas and fresh perspectives.
